What is cmNetPortExtBcastRateLimitEnabled?
This OID holds a true/false flag indicating whether broadcast traffic filtering is active on a network port. It tells network administrators whether the port is restricting broadcast packets to prevent network flooding and performance degradation. An operator would enable this when a switch port experiences excessive broadcast traffic that's consuming bandwidth, or disable it if legitimate broadcast-heavy services need unrestricted access.
