Description: The status of this row. An entry MUST NOT exist in the active state unless all objects in the entry have an appropriate value, as described in the description clause for each writable object.
The values of cmFlowPointRowStatus supported are createAndGo(4) and destroy(6). All mandatory attributes must be specified in a single SNMP SET request with cmFlowPointRowStatus value as createAndGo(4). Upon successful row creation, this object has a value of active(1).
The cmFlowPointRowStatus object may be modified if the associated instance of this object is equal to active(1).
What is cmFlowPointRowStatus?
This is the standard SNMP RowStatus object used to create or delete a FlowPoint table entry, supporting only createAndGo(4) to instantiate a new flow point and destroy(6) to remove one, requiring all mandatory attributes in the same creating SET request. An administrator uses this to provision or decommission an individual flow point representing one customer's traffic classification on a port. For example, tearing down a customer's service means setting this object to destroy(6) on that customer's specific flow point row.
