cmFlowPointMcastRateLimitSpeedLo
Module: CM-FACILITY-MIB
OID (symbolic): CM-FACILITY-MIB::cmFlowPointMcastRateLimitSpeedLo
OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.2544.1.12.4.1.29.1.27
Node type: OBJECT-TYPE
Type: Unsigned32
Access: read-write
Description: The rate limiting for multicast packets per FP When cmFlowPointMcastRateLimitEnabled and the value is 0, it means all multicast frame are dropped.
This objects only represents low 32 bits.
What is cmFlowPointMcastRateLimitSpeedLo?
This read-write object holds the lower 32 bits of the multicast rate-limit speed for this FlowPoint, and if cmFlowPointMcastRateLimitEnabled is on with this value set to 0, all multicast frames on the flow are dropped entirely. An administrator sets this value to cap multicast bandwidth to a specific rate, or intentionally to zero to block multicast traffic on that flow altogether. For example, setting this to 0 on a flow point where multicast service is not purchased effectively blocks any multicast traffic that customer might inject.
Examples
Walk all instances (SNMPv2c):
snmpwalk -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.2544.1.12.4.1.29.1.27 snmpwalk -v2c -c public <target> CM-FACILITY-MIB::cmFlowPointMcastRateLimitSpeedLo
Get a specific instance (index 1):
snmpget -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.2544.1.12.4.1.29.1.27.1 snmpget -v2c -c public <target> CM-FACILITY-MIB::cmFlowPointMcastRateLimitSpeedLo.1
Set instance 1 (SNMPv2c):
snmpset -v2c -c private <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.2544.1.12.4.1.29.1.27.1 i <value>
SNMPv3 example:
snmpget -v3 -l authPriv -u snmpv3-user -a SHA -A "AuthPassword1" -x AES -X "PrivPassword1" <target> cmFlowPointMcastRateLimitSpeedLo.1
