OID (symbolic): CM-FACILITY-MIB::cmFlowPointEfIdentificationFields
OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.2544.1.12.4.1.29.1.59
Node type: OBJECT-TYPE
Type: EfIdentificationFieldType

Description: The Elephant Flows are identified per flowpoint. This object specifies the type of Elephant Flow identification based on specific fields in the L2-L4 headers. The identification includes the Source MAC Address, Destination MAC Address, Source IP Address, Destination IP Address, IP Protocol, Source Port and Destination Port. For Source and Destination ports, the supported protocols are TCP, UDP and SCTP.
What is cmFlowPointEfIdentificationFields?
This read-write object specifies which specific L2-L4 header fields, drawn from source/destination MAC, source/destination IP, IP protocol, and source/destination port (for TCP, UDP, SCTP), are used to identify Elephant Flows on this FlowPoint. An administrator configures this to fine-tune exactly which combination of header fields the device inspects when distinguishing one large flow from another, working alongside cmFlowPointEfIdentificationType. For example, an operator troubleshooting overly broad elephant-flow grouping might adjust this object to include source and destination port fields so flows are distinguished at a finer granularity.
