Node type: OBJECT-TYPE
Type: CmControlProtocolDispType
Access: read-write
Description: Deprecated - each Cisco protocol has its own disposition. Control Protocol Disposition for Cisco Group. This includes ISL, PAGP, UDLD, CDP, VTP, DTP, PSVTP+, UplinkFast, VLAN Bridge, L2PT. Note that a specific protocol filter overrides the group setting.
What is cmFlowPointCpdProfileCiscoGroupDispType?
This deprecated read-write object set a single group-level disposition for the bundle of Cisco proprietary control protocols, ISL, PAGP, UDLD, CDP, VTP, DTP, PVSTP+, UplinkFast, VLAN Bridge, and L2PT, at the individual flow-point level rather than the whole port, with any specific protocol filter still overriding this group setting. An administrator would have used this to apply one blanket Cisco-protocol policy to a single customer's flow, distinct from the port-wide equivalent object. For example, current flow-point configurations should use the individual per-protocol objects like cmFlowPointCpdProfileCdpDispType instead of relying on this deprecated group-wide flow-point control.
