Description: This object represents the Excess Information Rate(CIR) of an Flow in the Network to Access (N2A) direction. For a portbased Flow, this object is not settable. This is only settable if cmFlowN2ARateLimitingEnabled is enabled.
In case of Tranparent Flow this object represents N2 to N1 EIR.
What is cmFlowN2AEIR?
This read-create Unsigned32 sets the Excess Information Rate of the Ethernet Flow in the network-to-access direction. It is settable only when N2A rate limiting is enabled and is not settable at all for a port-based flow. For example, an administrator sets the N2A EIR to allow extra download bursts beyond the guaranteed N2A CIR for occasional large file transfers.
