Description: Deprecated - individual dispositions available for each MAC. Bridge Group Control Protocol Disposition Type. This includes BPDU, PAUSE (IEEE 802.3x Flow Control), LACP (Link Aggregation), LACP Marker (Marker), EFM OAM (IEEE 802.3 ah) and IEEE 802.1x Port Authentication, besides reserved MAC addresses from 01:80:C2:00:00:04 thru 01:80:C2:00:00:0F.

What is cmFlowCpdV2BridgeGroupDispType?

CpdV2BridgeGroupDispType is a read-write setting on the configured flow (a per-EVC traffic instance rather than a whole physical facility) that selects how the combined Bridge Group protocol set (BPDU, PAUSE, LACP, LACP Marker, EFM OAM, and 802.1x together) control frames are disposed of when they reach this NE — typically processed locally, dropped, passed through untouched, or tunneled across the network via L2PT. Because this old group-level knob toggles six unrelated protocols at once, most deployments now use the individual BPDU/Pause/EfmOam/PortAuthen objects instead for finer control. This particular object is marked deprecated in favor of per-MAC-address disposition objects, but is retained for backward compatibility. On a flow carrying a particular customer's EVC across the network, an administrator would set this object to peer, drop, pass-through, or tunnel the combined Bridge Group protocol set (BPDU, PAUSE, LACP, LACP Marker, EFM OAM, and 802.1x together) frames depending on whether this facility should terminate, block, forward, or L2PT-encapsulate that traffic.
