Description: Control Protocol Disposition for IEEE Spanning Tree(STP), MSTP (Multiple Spanning Tree) and RSTP (Rapid Reconfiguration of Spanning Tree). MAC Address (01:80:C2:00:00:00).

What is cmFlowCpdV2BPDUDispType?

CpdV2BPDUDispType is a read-write setting on the configured flow (a per-EVC traffic instance rather than a whole physical facility) that selects how Spanning Tree / MSTP / RSTP Bridge Protocol Data Units (BPDUs) control frames (MAC 01:80:C2:00:00:00) are disposed of when they reach this NE — typically processed locally, dropped, passed through untouched, or tunneled across the network via L2PT. If BPDUs are dropped here instead of passed through, two customer switches on either side of this facility will never see each other's spanning-tree state and could form an unintended loop. On a flow carrying a particular customer's EVC across the network, an administrator would set this object to peer, drop, pass-through, or tunnel Spanning Tree / MSTP / RSTP Bridge Protocol Data Units (BPDUs) frames depending on whether this facility should terminate, block, forward, or L2PT-encapsulate that traffic.
