Description: This enables provides the Filter Ethertype to match.
What is cmFlowCpdEthertype?
This read-write Integer32 (0..65535) specifies the Ethertype value that a flow's CPD filter row must match to apply its disposition. Admins rely on Ethertype matching because many Layer 2 control protocols are distinguished purely by this field (for instance CDP uses 0x2000), so setting it precisely is what makes the filter target the intended protocol and nothing else. For example, to isolate DTP frames specifically, an admin would set cmFlowCpdEthertype to 0x2004 on the relevant CPD filter row for that flow.
