cmFlowAction

Module: CM-FACILITY-MIB

OID (symbolic): CM-FACILITY-MIB::cmFlowAction

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.2544.1.12.4.1.4.1.18

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: FlowVlanActionType

Access: read-write

Description: This object is applicable only when Port is in connection-oriented evpl mode and the cmFlowType is regular. This object allows to add or remove the VLAN members specified by cmFlowActionVlan object. SNMP manager must first configure the VLAN member to be added/removed in the object cmFlowActionVlan and then should specify cmFlowAction on whether to add/remove the specified VLAN member.

What is cmFlowAction?

This read-write FlowVlanActionType, applicable only to a connection-oriented EVPL regular flow, specifies whether to add or remove the VLAN member set in the companion cmFlowActionVlan object. It lets an administrator incrementally modify a running flow's VLAN membership without redefining the whole member list. For example, an administrator sets Action to remove after first setting cmFlowActionVlan to VLAN 300, to drop that one VLAN from an already-provisioned flow.
