cmEthernetTrafficPortWfqSegmentationCOS

Module: CM-FACILITY-MIB

OID (symbolic): CM-FACILITY-MIB::cmEthernetTrafficPortWfqSegmentationCOS

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.2544.1.12.4.1.27.1.137

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: Integer32

Access: read-write

Description: This object is used to specify the wfq segmentation cos value.

What is cmEthernetTrafficPortWfqSegmentationCOS?

This read-write integer object specifies the Class of Service (COS) value used for Weighted Fair Queuing (WFQ) segmentation on the port, marking the boundary COS at which traffic is grouped into separate WFQ segments. An administrator tunes this to control how traffic of differing priority is partitioned for fair-queuing scheduling rather than treated as one undifferentiated pool. For example, setting this value appropriately ensures voice-priority traffic is segmented away from bulk data traffic before WFQ scheduling is applied.

Examples

Walk all instances (SNMPv2c):

snmpwalk -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.2544.1.12.4.1.27.1.137
snmpwalk -v2c -c public <target> CM-FACILITY-MIB::cmEthernetTrafficPortWfqSegmentationCOS

Get a specific instance (index 1):

snmpget -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.2544.1.12.4.1.27.1.137.1
snmpget -v2c -c public <target> CM-FACILITY-MIB::cmEthernetTrafficPortWfqSegmentationCOS.1

Set instance 1 (SNMPv2c):

snmpset -v2c -c private <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.2544.1.12.4.1.27.1.137.1 i <value>

SNMPv3 example:

snmpget -v3 -l authPriv -u snmpv3-user -a SHA -A "AuthPassword1" -x AES -X "PrivPassword1" <target> cmEthernetTrafficPortWfqSegmentationCOS.1
