cmEthernetTrafficPortPortVlanPriority

Module: CM-FACILITY-MIB

OID (symbolic): CM-FACILITY-MIB::cmEthernetTrafficPortPortVlanPriority

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.2544.1.12.4.1.27.1.70

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: VlanPriority

Access: read-write

Description: This object allows to specify the Ethernet Port VLAN Priority for the PUSHed VLAN tag (specified by cmEthernetTrafficPortPortVlanId) on untagged frames in the ingress direction. This object is only applicable for connection-oriented, evpl service type, when cmEthernetTrafficPortIngressPushPVIDEnabled is set to true.

What is cmEthernetTrafficPortPortVlanPriority?

This specifies the priority level (0-7) that will be tagged onto untagged Ethernet frames entering the port when VLAN tag pushing is enabled. For connection-oriented EPL (Ethernet Private Line) services, this determines the 802.1p priority marking added to frames lacking a VLAN tag. Service providers use this to ensure frames are queued with the correct priority when they enter the network, maintaining consistent quality of service levels.
