Description: This object is the input priority that is translated to a drop eligibility priority or a drop ineligibility priority.

What is cmEthernetTrafficPortPcpDEEncInPriority?

This object defines the incoming VLAN Priority Code Point (PCP) value that will be mapped or encoded into a drop-eligibility marked frame when traffic passes through this port's priority-to-drop-eligibility translation table. PCP values range 0-7 and specify different quality-of-service treatment; this translation allows the system to mark frames based on ingress priority. QoS engineers use this mapping to implement multi-level prioritization, such as mapping best-effort traffic to a drop-eligible class and priority traffic to a drop-ineligible class.
