Module: CM-FACILITY-MIB
OID (symbolic): CM-FACILITY-MIB::cmEthernetTrafficPortOuterVlanLoopback2
OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.2544.1.12.4.1.27.1.27
Node type: OBJECT-TYPE
Type: DisplayString
Access: read-write
Description: This object allows specification of the outer VLAN 2 to be looped back when port is in vlan(terminal/facility) loopback configuration. This is valid only if the corresponding bit in cmEthernetTrafficPortOuterVlanLoopbackMask is set. The value to be specified should be in the form X-Y where X is the VLAN Id and Y is the VLAN Priority. If Y is specified as a *, all Priorities (0 to 7) are looped back.
What is cmEthernetTrafficPortOuterVlanLoopback2?
cmEthernetTrafficPortOuterVlanLoopback2 is a read-write string specifying the outer VLAN 2 value to be looped back when the port is in VLAN loopback configuration, valid only if the corresponding bit in the loopback mask is set. An administrator uses this second slot to define a different VLAN for loopback testing than what's configured in the first slot, letting up to three VLANs be tested independently. For example, an operator needing to loop back both a data VLAN and a separate voice VLAN on the same port would set the voice VLAN's ID in this second slot rather than reusing the first.
