Description: This object allows retrieval of whether the remote OAM entity is capable of sending OAMPDUs when the receive path is non-operational.

What is cmEthernetTrafficPortOamRemoteUnidirSupportEnabled?

cmEthernetTrafficPortOamRemoteUnidirSupportEnabled is a read-only boolean reporting whether the remote OAM entity is capable of sending OAMPDUs even when its own receive path is non-operational. An administrator uses this to know whether a unidirectional fault on the far end's receive side would still be signaled back through this port, or whether that fault would go undetected. For example, if this object reports the remote entity lacks unidirectional support, an operator would know that a one-way fault on the far end's receive fiber might not be visible from this side.
