What is cmEthernetTrafficPortMcastRateLimitEnabled?
This TruthValue turns on multicast rate limiting for this Ethernet traffic port. Admins enable it to cap multicast flooding, such as from IGMP storms, that could otherwise saturate the port and starve unicast traffic. For example, after noticing multicast storms from a misbehaving IPTV source, the admin enables cmEthernetTrafficPortMcastRateLimitEnabled to protect the port's available bandwidth.
