What is cmEthernetTrafficPortLoopbackStatus?
cmEthernetTrafficPortLoopbackStatus is a read-only value reporting the status of whatever loopback is currently active on this Ethernet port. An administrator checks this to confirm a requested loopback actually took effect, or to discover that a port unexpectedly left in loopback is the reason it's not passing normal traffic. For example, a port reported as down for traffic but showing an active loopback status here would immediately explain the outage as a leftover test configuration rather than a hardware fault.
