Description: This object allows to set Traffic Port Destination MAC Address for frame matching when Traffic Port Destination MAC Control is enabled.

What is cmEthernetTrafficPortLoopbackDestMacAddress?

This read-write object holds the specific destination MAC address used for frame-matching during loopback when cmEthernetTrafficPortLoopbackDestMacControlEnabled is turned on. An administrator sets it to the exact MAC address of interest so only frames addressed to that MAC get looped back rather than all traffic on the port. For example, configuring this to a test set's MAC address ensures the port only loops back the diagnostic frames sent from that test set, leaving ordinary customer traffic unaffected.
