cmEthernetTrafficPortLinkLossFwdTriggerTypes
Module: CM-FACILITY-MIB
OID (symbolic): CM-FACILITY-MIB::cmEthernetTrafficPortLinkLossFwdTriggerTypes
OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.2544.1.12.4.1.27.1.31
Node type: OBJECT-TYPE
Type: CmLinkLossFwdTriggerTypes
Access: read-write
Description: This object allows definition of the link loss forwarding trigger types. This is applicable only if cmEthernetTrafficPortLinkLossFwdEnabled is enabled.
What is cmEthernetTrafficPortLinkLossFwdTriggerTypes?
cmEthernetTrafficPortLinkLossFwdTriggerTypes is a read-write setting defining which trigger types cause link loss forwarding to activate, applicable only when link loss forwarding is enabled on this port. An administrator selects which specific failure conditions (not just any link-down event) should be treated as triggers, tailoring the feature to the failure modes actually relevant to this circuit. For example, a circuit that should react to a physical link failure but not to an administrative shutdown would have its trigger types configured accordingly rather than treating every link-down event the same way.

Get a specific instance (index 1):
snmpget -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.2544.1.12.4.1.27.1.31.1 snmpget -v2c -c public <target> CM-FACILITY-MIB::cmEthernetTrafficPortLinkLossFwdTriggerTypes.1
Set instance 1 (SNMPv2c):
snmpset -v2c -c private <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.2544.1.12.4.1.27.1.31.1 s <value>
SNMPv3 example:
snmpget -v3 -l authPriv -u snmpv3-user -a SHA -A "AuthPassword1" -x AES -X "PrivPassword1" <target> cmEthernetTrafficPortLinkLossFwdTriggerTypes.1
