cmEthernetTrafficPortLinkLossFwdRemoteLinkIds
Module: CM-FACILITY-MIB
OID (symbolic): CM-FACILITY-MIB::cmEthernetTrafficPortLinkLossFwdRemoteLinkIds
OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.2544.1.12.4.1.27.1.36
Node type: OBJECT-TYPE
Type: DisplayString
Access: read-write
Description: This object allows enabling/disabling Remote Link Ids on Ethernet port. The Ethernet port is able to distinguish the remote side client ports from the Remote Link Down PDUs coming from remote end. Input format allows multiple Remote Link Ids seperated by comma (e.g. 1,2,3,10,20...). Number range is product-specific (for EGX8.1, max value is 554). Empty string clears the configuration.
What is cmEthernetTrafficPortLinkLossFwdRemoteLinkIds?
cmEthernetTrafficPortLinkLossFwdRemoteLinkIds is a read-write string enabling or disabling remote link IDs on this Ethernet port, letting it distinguish remote client ports from Remote Link Down PDUs received from the far end, with the input format allowing multiple remote link IDs to be specified. An administrator configures the specific remote link IDs this port should react to, so link loss forwarding only responds to failures of the intended remote client ports rather than every remote link ID the far end might report. For example, a port aggregating link loss status for three specific remote client ports would list only those three remote link IDs here, ignoring Remote Link Down PDUs referencing any other ID.
