Description: This object provides the indication of a link partners ability to support link loss forwarding via EFM, i.e. from received organization specific OAMPDUs.

What is cmEthernetTrafficPortLinkLossFwdPartnerEnabled?

cmEthernetTrafficPortLinkLossFwdPartnerEnabled is a read-only boolean indicating whether the link partner has signaled, via received organization-specific OAMPDUs, that it supports link loss forwarding. An administrator checks this before relying on link loss forwarding end-to-end, since the feature only works meaningfully if both ends of the link support and advertise it via EFM OAM. For example, if this object reports the partner does not support link loss forwarding, an operator would know not to depend on far-end propagation of a local failure through this mechanism alone.
