What is cmEthernetTrafficPortLinkLossFwdEnabled?

cmEthernetTrafficPortLinkLossFwdEnabled is a read-write boolean enabling or disabling link loss forwarding on this Ethernet port. An administrator enables this so that a link failure detected on one side of a circuit is propagated to bring down the far-side port too, rather than leaving one end up while the other is actually broken. For example, in a point-to-point Ethernet private line, enabling link loss forwarding on the near-end port ensures the far-end port also goes down when the near-end physical link fails, so higher-layer protocols detect the outage promptly.
