cmEthernetTrafficPortInnerVlanLoopbackMask
Module: CM-FACILITY-MIB
OID (symbolic): CM-FACILITY-MIB::cmEthernetTrafficPortInnerVlanLoopbackMask
OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.2544.1.12.4.1.27.1.84
Node type: OBJECT-TYPE
Type: INTEGER
Access: read-write
Description: This object allows specification of the inner VLANs to be looped back when port is in vlan(terminal/facility) loopback configuration. Only 3 VLANs can be specified for vlan loopback. The various bit positions are: 1 Inner VLAN 1 Loopback Enabled 2 Inner VLAN 2 Loopback Enabled 4 Inner VLAN 3 Loopback Enabled
What is cmEthernetTrafficPortInnerVlanLoopbackMask?
This integer object is a bitmask that selects which of up to three inner VLANs get looped back when the port is placed into VLAN (terminal/facility) loopback mode, with bit values 1, 2, and 4 corresponding to Inner VLAN 1, 2, and 3 respectively. An administrator sets this to control precisely which nested VLAN traffic is reflected back during a loopback test rather than looping every VLAN indiscriminately. For example, setting the mask to 5 (1+4) would enable loopback for Inner VLAN 1 and Inner VLAN 3 while leaving Inner VLAN 2 unaffected.
