cmEthernetTrafficPortIngressPopPriorityVidEnabled

Module: CM-FACILITY-MIB

OID (symbolic): CM-FACILITY-MIB::cmEthernetTrafficPortIngressPopPriorityVidEnabled

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.2544.1.12.4.1.27.1.110

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: TruthValue

Access: read-write

Description: This object defines the Ingress PopPriorityVid enable or disable of the port. If it is enabled, then incoming priority tagged packet's VID is swapped to Priority VLAN ID.

This attribute has been deprecated and is supported only on EG-X. Please use cmEthernetTrafficPortIngressSwapPriorityVIDEnabled

What is cmEthernetTrafficPortIngressPopPriorityVidEnabled?

This deprecated TruthValue enables Ingress Pop Priority VID behavior, where, when on, an incoming priority-tagged packet's VID gets swapped to the configured Priority VLAN ID rather than left as-is; it is supported only on EG-X hardware. An administrator would have used it to normalize priority-tagged ingress traffic into a single designated priority VLAN on older EG-X cards. For example, a legacy EG-X deployment migrating configurations should move to cmEthernetTrafficPortIngressSwapPriorityVIDEnabled since this object is kept only for compatibility.
