cmEthernetTrafficPortEgressPopPriorityVidEnabled
Module: CM-FACILITY-MIB
OID (symbolic): CM-FACILITY-MIB::cmEthernetTrafficPortEgressPopPriorityVidEnabled
OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.2544.1.12.4.1.27.1.68
Node type: OBJECT-TYPE
Type: TruthValue
Access: read-write
Description: This object defines the egress PopPriorityVid enable or disable of the port. If it is enabled, the outgoing packets with VID=Priority VLAN ID will be swapped back to VID=0.
This attribute has been deprecated and is supported only on EG-X. Please use cmEthernetTrafficPortEgressSwapPriorityVIDEnabled
What is cmEthernetTrafficPortEgressPopPriorityVidEnabled?
This deprecated TruthValue setting enables or disables Pop Priority VID behavior on the port's egress path, which when on causes outgoing frames tagged with the Priority VLAN ID to have that VID swapped back to 0. It mattered for legacy EG-X hardware handling priority-tagged traffic, letting an operator strip a priority marker before frames left the network. For example, on an EG-X card an admin migrating configurations should switch to cmEthernetTrafficPortEgressSwapPriorityVIDEnabled instead, since this object is retained only for backward compatibility with existing EG-X deployments.
