Description: This object provides diagnosis results for the cable Pair 4 on Ethernet Traffic Port.

What is cmEthernetTrafficPortDiagnosePair4Cond?

This read-only object reports the diagnosed condition of copper cable Pair 4 on the Ethernet Traffic Port, the last of the four twisted-pair diagnostic results returned by an Etherjack test. An administrator uses it to complete the picture of per-pair cable health alongside Pairs 1 through 3 when chasing an intermittent Ethernet link fault. For example, a technician might find Pair 4 reporting an open condition, explaining why the port negotiates only at reduced speed instead of full Gigabit.
