Module: CM-FACILITY-MIB
OID (symbolic): CM-FACILITY-MIB::cmEthernetTrafficPortCpdV2BridgeGroupDispType
OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.2544.1.12.4.1.97.1.13
Node type: OBJECT-TYPE
Type: CmControlProtocolDispType
Access: read-write
Description: Deprecated - individual dispositions available for each MAC. Bridge Group Control Protocol Disposition Type. This includes BPDU, PAUSE (IEEE 802.3x Flow Control), LACP (Link Aggregation), LACP Marker (Marker), EFM OAM (IEEE 802.3 ah) and IEEE 802.1x Port Authentication, besides reserved MAC addresses from 01:80:C2:00:00:04 thru 01:80:C2:00:00:0F.
What is cmEthernetTrafficPortCpdV2BridgeGroupDispType?
This read-write, deprecated object sets one group disposition covering several IEEE bridge-related protocols together (BPDU, PAUSE, LACP, LACP Marker, EFM OAM, 802.1x Port Authentication, and the reserved MAC range 01:80:C2:00:00:04-0F), though it has been superseded by individual per-protocol dispositions. An administrator previously used this as a single knob to apply one treatment to the whole IEEE bridge protocol family at once on a port. For example, setting this to discard on an older configuration would suppress all of those bridge-group protocols unless a specific one is individually overridden.
