This object holds the low 32 bits of the broadcast rate-limit ceiling applied to this Ethernet traffic port, and a value of 0 with broadcast limiting enabled drops all broadcast frames. Admins use it to prevent broadcast storms, such as from a loop or misconfigured device, from consuming the port's bandwidth. For example, on a port connected to an access switch prone to broadcast floods, the admin sets a modest cmEthernetTrafficPortBcastRateLimitSpeedLo to contain the impact.
