What is cmEthernetNetPortXdslControlChannel?

This read-write object selects which control-channel mode the xDSL line uses to carry management/handshake overhead alongside the data path. Admins configure it to match the DSLAM/CPE's expected control-channel scheme so the line establishes and maintains synchronization correctly. For example, if a modem fails to train on a line, an admin might change this setting to see whether an alternate control-channel configuration allows a stable handshake.
