cmEthernetNetPortWfqGroupEirHi

Module: CM-FACILITY-MIB

OID (symbolic): CM-FACILITY-MIB::cmEthernetNetPortWfqGroupEirHi

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.2544.1.12.4.1.7.1.122

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: Unsigned32

Access: read-write

Description: This object is used to specify the wfq group eir high 32 bits value.

What is cmEthernetNetPortWfqGroupEirHi?

This read-write Unsigned32 holds the upper 32 bits of the Excess Information Rate (EIR) for the port-level WFQ group on an Ethernet Network Port, paired with a low-order EIR object for rates exceeding 32 bits. Admins need this high-order field only when provisioning a very large port-level WFQ group EIR that would otherwise overflow a single 32-bit value, such as multi-gigabit excess allowances on an aggregation port. For example, allowing a network port's WFQ group up to 6 Gbps of excess burst capacity would require a nonzero cmEthernetNetPortWfqGroupEirHi together with the corresponding low-order EIR value to represent that combined rate.
