What is cmEthernetNetPortTDMEncapsulation?
This object describes the type of Generic Framing Procedure (GFP) encapsulation used on an Ethernet network port that carries TDM (time-division multiplexed) traffic. GFP encapsulation translates TDM circuits into Ethernet frames for transport over packet networks. An operator sets this to choose between standard GFP or manufacturer-specific variants based on the carrier's multiservice network requirements.
