What is cmEthernetNetPortSfpLaserWaveLength?
This read-only Integer32 reports the SFP laser's wavelength in nanometers, applicable only when cmEthernetNetPortMediaType is fiber. Admins check this to ensure wavelength compatibility across a fiber link (or with a WDM system), since mismatched wavelengths between two ends of a single-fiber Bi-Di link will prevent the connection from working at all. For example, when pairing single-strand Bi-Di optics, an admin would confirm cmEthernetNetPortSfpLaserWaveLength on one end (e.g. 1310nm) is the complementary partner of the other end's wavelength (e.g. 1550nm).
