Description: This object allows the SNMP user to manage the Priority Code Point (PCP) Drop Eligibility Pairs. When the cmEthernetNetPortPcpDEEncType is of type 7p1d, 6p2d, 5p3d, the cmNetPortPcpDEPairTable can be used to specify alternate pairs of priorities to specify drop eligibility/ ineligibility.

What is cmEthernetNetPortPcpDEPairsAction?

This object manages the Priority Code Point (PCP) and Drop Eligibility (DE) pairs on an Ethernet port for fine-grained traffic differentiation. It allows the administrator to specify alternate priority-to-drop-eligibility mappings beyond the standard defaults. Quality-of-service engineers use this to create custom prioritization schemes for service providers needing complex traffic handling rules.
