cmEthernetNetPortOuterVlanLoopback2
Module: CM-FACILITY-MIB
OID (symbolic): CM-FACILITY-MIB::cmEthernetNetPortOuterVlanLoopback2
OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.2544.1.12.4.1.7.1.35
Node type: OBJECT-TYPE
Type: DisplayString
Access: read-write
Description: This object allows specification of the outer VLAN 2 to be looped back when port is in vlan(terminal/facility) loopback configuration. This is valid only if the corresponding bit in cmEthernetNetPortOuterVlanLoopbackMask is set. The value to be specified should be in the form X-Y where X is the VLAN Id and Y is the VLAN Priority. If Y is specified as a *, all Priorities (0 to 7) are looped back.
What is cmEthernetNetPortOuterVlanLoopback2?
This read-write DisplayString (0..6 chars) specifies, in the form X-Y (VLAN Id-Priority), which outer VLAN 2 traffic to loop back on an Ethernet Network Port, valid only when the corresponding bit in cmEthernetNetPortOuterVlanLoopbackMask is set. Admins use the Y priority field to scope the loopback to specific 802.1p priorities within that VLAN, or use '*' to loop all priorities, letting them isolate a QoS-specific test. For example, setting cmEthernetNetPortOuterVlanLoopback2 to '200-5' loops back only priority-5 tagged frames on outer VLAN 200, leaving other priorities on that VLAN forwarding normally.
