cmEthernetNetPortOuterVlanLoopback1
Module: CM-FACILITY-MIB
OID (symbolic): CM-FACILITY-MIB::cmEthernetNetPortOuterVlanLoopback1
OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.2544.1.12.4.1.7.1.34
Node type: OBJECT-TYPE
Type: DisplayString
Access: read-write
Description: This object allows specification of the outer VLAN 1 to be looped back when port is in vlan(terminal/facility) loopback configuration. This is valid only if the corresponding bit in cmEthernetNetPortOuterVlanLoopbackMask is set. The value to be specified should be in the form X-Y where X is the VLAN Id and Y is the VLAN Priority. If Y is specified as a *, all Priorities (0 to 7) are looped back.
What is cmEthernetNetPortOuterVlanLoopback1?
This object specifies which outer VLAN and priority level should be looped back when an Ethernet port is placed in VLAN-level loopback test mode. The value uses a format like 'X-Y' where X is the VLAN ID and Y is the priority (0-7), or 'X-*' to loop back all priorities for that VLAN. An operator would configure this before running loopback diagnostics to ensure the test traffic matches the network's VLAN tagging scheme and QoS markings.
