What is cmEthernetNetPortOamRemoteMacAddress?
This read-only MacAddress reports the MAC address of the remote EFM OAM peer discovered on an Ethernet Network Port. Admins use it to positively identify exactly which far-end device the OAM session has established with, useful when a port could theoretically connect to more than one candidate device during turn-up. For example, after connecting a new circuit, an admin would check cmEthernetNetPortOamRemoteMacAddress to confirm OAM discovered the expected customer-premises equipment rather than an unexpected intermediate device.
