This object allows retrieval of whether the remote OAM entity supports interpreting Link Events.
What is cmEthernetNetPortOamRemoteLinkEventsEnabled?
This read-only object reports whether the peer equipment on a remote Ethernet link supports OAM (Operations, Administration, and Maintenance) Link Events notifications. Link Events are OAM messages that alert both sides when port status changes occur. Operators use this to verify that both devices can exchange critical link status information for network troubleshooting.
