Module: CM-FACILITY-MIB

OID (symbolic): CM-FACILITY-MIB::cmEthernetNetPortLoopbackTestReflectorIPv6AddressControl

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.2544.1.12.4.1.7.1.132

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: TruthValue

Access: read-write

Description: Control that enables/disables Test Reflector IPv6 Address to be used for Test Reflector IP Interface.

What is cmEthernetNetPortLoopbackTestReflectorIPv6AddressControl?

This read-write TruthValue enables or disables use of a Test Reflector IPv6 address for the Test Reflector IP Interface on an Ethernet Network Port. Admins toggle this when the loopback test infrastructure needs to operate over IPv6 rather than (or in addition to) the IPv4 reflector address, matching the addressing scheme of the actual test traffic. For example, running a service-activation test over an IPv6-only management network, an admin would enable cmEthernetNetPortLoopbackTestReflectorIPv6AddressControl so the reflector interface responds using IPv6 rather than expecting IPv4.
