Description:
This object allows to Enable/Disable the Net Port Source MAC Address frame matching criteria for all streams. Not applicable for: efm-oam-remote, efm-oam-remote-timed.
What is cmEthernetNetPortLoopbackSourceMacControlEnabled?
This object enables or disables source MAC address filtering for loopback test streams on network ports in ADVA's Ethernet facility. When enabled, loopback test streams will only match frames with specific source MAC addresses. Network technicians use this feature to ensure loopback testing applies only to intended traffic and does not interfere with other streams.
