cmEthernetNetPortLinkLossFwdEnabled
Module: CM-FACILITY-MIB
OID (symbolic): CM-FACILITY-MIB::cmEthernetNetPortLinkLossFwdEnabled
OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.2544.1.12.4.1.7.1.41
Node type: OBJECT-TYPE
Type: TruthValue
Access: read-write
Description: This object allows enabling/disabling link loss forwarding on the Ethernet Network Port.
What is cmEthernetNetPortLinkLossFwdEnabled?
This read-write TruthValue enables or disables Link Loss Forwarding (LLF) on an Ethernet Network Port, the feature that propagates a detected link failure to the far end. It matters operationally because without LLF, a failure on one side of a circuit (e.g. the network-facing leg) can go undetected by equipment on the access side, delaying failover. For example, enabling cmEthernetNetPortLinkLossFwdEnabled on a network port ensures that if the uplink toward the core fails, the corresponding access port also signals down so connected customer equipment can trigger its own protection switching.

Set instance 1 (SNMPv2c):
snmpset -v2c -c private <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.2544.1.12.4.1.7.1.41.1 s <value>
SNMPv3 example:
snmpget -v3 -l authPriv -u snmpv3-user -a SHA -A "AuthPassword1" -x AES -X "PrivPassword1" <target> cmEthernetNetPortLinkLossFwdEnabled.1
