Description: This object allows specification of the inner VLANs to be looped back when port is in vlan(terminal/facility) loopback configuration. Only 3 VLANs can be specified for vlan loopback. The various bit positions are: 1 Inner VLAN 1 Loopback Enabled 2 Inner VLAN 2 Loopback Enabled 4 Inner VLAN 3 Loopback Enabled Value of 0 means that no VLANs are enabled.
What is cmEthernetNetPortInnerVlanLoopbackMask?
This read-write INTEGER (0..16) is a bitmask selecting which of up to three configured inner VLANs get looped back when the Ethernet Network Port is in VLAN loopback mode, using the same bit-1/2/4 scheme as the outer VLAN mask but applied to the second (inner) tag. It matters for Q-in-Q services where the inner tag identifies the actual customer VLAN inside an outer aggregation tag, so loopback testing must target the inner tag to isolate one customer's traffic. For example, on a Q-in-Q access port, setting cmEthernetNetPortInnerVlanLoopbackMask to 2 loops back only the second configured inner VLAN, leaving other customers sharing the same outer tag unaffected.
