cmEthernetNetPortInnerVlanLoopback2
Module: CM-FACILITY-MIB
OID (symbolic): CM-FACILITY-MIB::cmEthernetNetPortInnerVlanLoopback2
OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.2544.1.12.4.1.7.1.39
Node type: OBJECT-TYPE
Type: DisplayString
Access: read-write
Description: This object allows specification of the inner VLAN 2 to be looped back when port is in vlan(terminal/facility) loopback configuration. This is valid only if the corresponding bit in cmEthernetNetPortInnerVlanLoopbackMask is set. The value to be specified should be in the form X-Y where X is the VLAN Id and Y is the VLAN Priority. If Y is specified as a *, all Priorities (0 to 7) are looped back.
What is cmEthernetNetPortInnerVlanLoopback2?
This read-write DisplayString (0..6 chars) specifies, in the form X-Y, which inner VLAN 2 traffic to loop back on an Ethernet Network Port, valid only when the corresponding bit in cmEthernetNetPortInnerVlanLoopbackMask is set. Admins use this to test a specific customer's inner VLAN inside a Q-in-Q service without disturbing the outer aggregation tag shared by other customers on the same port. For example, setting cmEthernetNetPortInnerVlanLoopback2 to '20-3' loops back only priority-3 frames on inner VLAN 20, letting a technician verify one customer's QoS-marked traffic path in isolation.
