What is cmEthernetNetPortCpdV2LLDPDispType?
CpdV2LLDPDispType is a read-write setting on the Ethernet network-facing (NNI/trunk) port that selects how Link Layer Discovery Protocol (LLDP), covering the shared LLDP MAC addresses (01:80:C2:00:00:0E, 03, or 00) control frames are disposed of when they reach this NE — typically processed locally, dropped, passed through untouched, or tunneled across the network via L2PT. This coarse, deprecated setting is superseded by the separate nearest-bridge, non-TPMR-bridge, and customer-bridge LLDP objects, which let an operator distinguish neighbor-discovery scope precisely. This particular object is marked deprecated in favor of per-MAC-address disposition objects, but is retained for backward compatibility. On the network-facing trunk port linking to the next carrier NE, an operator on the older firmware branch would use this one object to cover all LLDP neighbor discovery until upgrading to the split nearest/non-TPMR/customer objects.
