cmEthernetNetPortCpdV2Index is a read-only integer that uniquely identifies one row of the control-protocol-disposition table kept for a network-facing Ethernet port, separate from the CPD tables kept for access ports and flows. This index lets management software address a specific disposition row for that trunk-side port rather than confusing it with a same-named protocol's disposition on the customer-facing side. For example, an SNMP walk of this table on a given network port would use consecutive index values to enumerate every Cisco/IEEE/LLDP disposition object defined for that port's uplink.
