What is cmEthernetNetPortCpdV2DtpDispType?

CpdV2DtpDispType is a read-write setting on the Ethernet network-facing (NNI/trunk) port that selects how Dynamic Trunking Protocol (DTP) control frames (MAC 01:00:0C:CC:CC:CC, Ethertype 0x2004) are disposed of when they reach this NE — typically processed locally, dropped, passed through untouched, or tunneled across the network via L2PT. Carriers usually drop DTP at the network edge since trunk negotiation should not be allowed to cross into another administrative domain, but this object lets that be tuned per port. On the network-facing trunk port linking to the next carrier NE, an administrator would set this object to peer, drop, pass-through, or tunnel Dynamic Trunking Protocol (DTP) frames depending on whether this facility should terminate, block, forward, or L2PT-encapsulate that traffic.
