This read-write AdminState object controls whether an Ethernet Management Port is administratively enabled or disabled. Admins use this to take the out-of-band management interface in or out of service, for example when migrating management traffic to a redundant management port before disabling the primary. For example, before physically swapping a management cable, an admin would set cmEthernetMgmtPortAdminState to disabled on that port to avoid triggering spurious link-down alarms during the planned change.
