This read-write VariablePointer binds an Ethernet flow point to a specific CPD (control protocol disposition) profile by referencing the target profile's cmCpdProfileIndex. An administrator sets it to apply a previously created bundle of per-protocol disposition rules (covering the reserved MAC addresses, LLDP, E-LMI, and similar control protocols) to that flow point in one step rather than configuring each disposition individually. For example, after creating a CPD profile tailored for wholesale UNIs, an operator would point every wholesale flow point's association at that profile's index to apply it uniformly.
