Description:
Allows enabling/disabling of silent start.
What is cmEthernetAccPortSilentStartControl?
This boolean flag enables or disables silent start mode on Ethernet access ports. Silent start suppresses link-up notifications and allows ports to come online without generating alerts to the management system. Operators use this during maintenance windows or bulk port provisioning to avoid flooding the management system with spurious alarms.
