Description:

This object provides the SFP Laser Wave Length in nano meters. This is applicable only when cmEthernetAccPortMediaType is fiber.

What is cmEthernetAccPortSfpLaserWaveLength?

This read-only integer holds the wavelength in nanometers of the laser in an SFP (Small Form-factor Pluggable) fiber optic transceiver. It indicates what color of light the fiber module uses, which is critical for compatibility with fiber infrastructure. When installing a new fiber uplink, an operator would verify this matches the network design—typically 1310nm for single-mode or 850nm for multi-mode.
