cmEthernetAccPortPortVlanPriority

Module: CM-FACILITY-MIB

OID (symbolic): CM-FACILITY-MIB::cmEthernetAccPortPortVlanPriority

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.2544.1.12.4.1.1.1.88

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: VlanPriority

Access: read-write

Description: This object allows to specify the Ethernet Access Port VLAN Priority for the PUSHed VLAN tag (specified by cmEthernetAccPortPortVlanId) on untagged frames in the Access to Network direction. This object is only applicable for connection-oriented, evpl service type, when cmEthernetAccPortA2NPushPVIDEnabled is set to true.

What is cmEthernetAccPortPortVlanPriority?

This object controls the priority level (0-7) that will be assigned to network traffic entering an Ethernet access port when untagged frames are converted to VLAN-tagged frames for transmission. It applies only to connection-oriented services (EVPL) where VLAN tag pushing is enabled on the access-to-network path. An operator would configure this to ensure QoS requirements are met by assigning appropriate priority markings to traffic from this port.
